Good Morning,Farmer asked me this morning to create an XML sitemap to submit to google search. I am not technologically articulate whatsoever, however, I am a quick learner. Are there any good resources to learn how to do this?
We are developing a website through the host "Small Farm Central" that basically does everything for us. All the work on our end is filling in the blanks and customizing to fit our own image and ideas for the website. The point of the sitemap is to submit it to popular search engines like Google or Bing and incorporate a plethora of "hit words" into the sitemap so when people type in money or pasture raised, the Breakaway Farms link will come up. Can someone also elaborate on that; what is the relationship between "hit words" and a site map and how do you incorporate these words into it so that our URL will show up in search feed? I have no idea about these things.
